Terms of Use

This is a plain-language summary of the terms for using NoOdlerr. It isn't exhaustive legal advice, but it does describe the actual rules for this site and what happens if you don't follow them.

Ownership

NoOdlerr — including its software, source code, original artwork, custom tile packs and their authored assets, material treatments, pack presentation, interface design, branding, and other original authored content — is copyright © 2026 Carl Frischmuth. All rights reserved. This claim does not extend to underlying mathematical ideas, geometric principles, or material that is independently in the public domain.

What you can do

You're welcome to visit NoOdlerr, play with it, and share a link to it. Patterns and images you create with NoOdlerr are yours to keep, share, publish, and use, including commercially. Purchasing or unlocking a NoOdlerr pack gives you the right to use that pack within NoOdlerr and to use the patterns and images you create with it. It does not transfer ownership of the pack, its artwork, source assets, material treatments, or other underlying authored content.

What you can't do

You may not copy, reproduce, reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, mirror, or redistribute NoOdlerr's source code, original authored assets, custom pack assets, material treatments, or other protected content, or use those materials to build a competing or derivative product, without prior written permission. This applies whether you access that material through the deployed site, its source, or any other channel. Automated scraping or bulk downloading of the site is not permitted.

No warranty

NoOdlerr is provided "as is," in active development, and may change, break, or be unavailable without notice. There's no warranty of any kind, express or implied.
